Skin and Wound Care Video
Skin and Wound Care series emphasize on the role of the nurse to describe factors affecting skin integrity and identifying clients at risk for pressure ulcers. The series describe the four stages of pressure ulcer development and differentiate primary and secondary wound healing and describes the three phases of wound healing. Part of the roles of the nurse include identifying assessment data pertinent to skin integrity, pressure sites, and wounds and identifying nursing diagnoses associated with impaired skin integrity.
